I was approached by Louise Leakey to create a website that would showcase the large collection of artifacts belonging to the Leakey Foundation in Kenya. I developed a pipeline that would use photogrammetry to create 3d models that could be imported into Autodesk 3d studio max for cleanup and texturing and assembled a team of web developers to automate the process of updating the continually growing database of models. The result is an interactive web app in which the artifacts can be spun around and zoomed in on and examined in great detail. Users can also download the data sets for 3d printing.
